White Rabbit Foundry

Software Development

Software your business can rely on, from the first prototype onwards.

We design and build the software mid-sized companies need and cannot buy off the shelf: internal tools that replace spreadsheets, customer-facing web and mobile apps, and the cloud platforms underneath them. Small senior teams, short cycles, and a habit of shipping the real thing rather than a demo of it.

What we do

The work, specifically.

  1. 01

    Internal tools and back-office systems

Admin panels, approval flows, catalogue and order management, and the reporting that goes with them. The unglamorous software that quietly saves a team hours a day.

  2. 02

    Customer-facing web and mobile apps

Native iOS and Android apps and responsive web applications, with accounts, payments, notifications and the analytics to see how people use them.

  3. 03

    Cloud platforms and infrastructure

Google Cloud architecture, Firebase, CI/CD, monitoring and cost control, so the product keeps working when nobody is watching it.

  4. 04

    Prototypes and MVPs

Something real in front of users within weeks, built so the parts that work can go straight into production rather than being thrown away.

  5. 05

    Security and compliance by default

Secure development practices, UK and EU data residency, signed and notarised desktop builds, and the documentation that enterprise buyers and app store reviewers ask for.

Questions

Things people ask us first.

Do you build mobile apps as well as web?
Yes. Streetly is a native iOS and Android app we built for a delivery business, and Clean Rabbit runs on macOS, Windows and Linux. We pick the platform that suits the audience, and we say so if a web app would serve you better than a native one.
Which cloud do you use?
Google Cloud for most of our work, including Cloud Run, Firestore, BigQuery and Firebase, with data held in London. We have worked with AWS and Azure where a client is already committed to them.
Who owns the code?
You do. Everything we build for you lives in your own repositories and cloud accounts from day one, with documentation your team or another supplier can pick up.
Can you take over an existing product?
Often, yes. We start with a short review of the code, infrastructure and costs, tell you plainly what we found, and only then agree what to change.
